WELCOME

Tigmi-talbourht is located in the quiet berber village of Oumnass, well known for its beautiful kasbah where several films have been made. At just 22 kms from the busy Marrakech Tigmi-Talbourht emerges from the rolling hills surrounded by eucalyptus, olive and other exotic trees.
Once you have stepped the high gate, the traditionnal house with its two towers appears in a large flowered garden. you'll discover the pool, the outdoor sitting-rooms and the hammam (tradionnal arabic bath)
In house, you feel you are in a world apart,due to its taditionnal lime and clay construction that is warm in winter and cool in summer
There is a large sitting-room and dinning room with huge fire-place, aT.V. room with fire-place and finally the kitchen and another colourful sitting room with fire-place

ACTIVITIES

After a few hours in the busy souk in Marrakech, return to Tigmi-Talbourht and enjoy in the country-side
Read a book under an eucalyptus tree, or, relax on a sofa next to the pool or next to the fountain,
Climb up on one of the two terraces on the roof and take in the spectacular view towards the Atlas mountains drinking a glass of mint tea
Take a refreshing dip in the pool
Relax and reinvigorate yourself in the hammam
Go for a walk and dicover olive groves, fields of mint and Berbers shepherds tending their flocks
Wander around the villages and explore the kasbah just a short walk from the house
Visit one of the nearby rural souks
Do yoga with Olivia

The house has 5 comfortable bedrooms.

MEALS

Malika, the cook, enjoys making , couscous, tajine of course, but she is also very proud of cooking other authentic moroccan meals you would never find in a restaurant. Herbs grown in the garden add delicious flavour to the dishes . Ourown herbs are also used to flavour freshly prepared pots of herbal tea.
Meals are mostly served out doors with all the guests and hosts
